Technology in the Classroom

The positives of technology in education is endless. Just yesterday I was on a personal development video call regarding integrating movement into the classroom. Yes, video call. I had never been on one before, and for me to connect with other paraprofessionals and students to discuss movement in the classroom was amazing. We discussed not only movement, but the importance of smart boards and chromebooks and the impact they have on our students. How we can easily talk to parents and send homework assignments home and show progress reports without actually printing some over complicated document. Technology for special needs students has been my favorite thing to witness thus far. Watching a student speak through their tablet has been amazingly heart warming and shown me anything is possible.
